We at The Perrin Clinic

offer a comprehensive range of hands on treatment helping the whole body with osteopathy, physiotherapy, acupuncture, talk therapy and hypnosis to help you achieve a better quality of life.

At The Perrin Clinic, we provide HOLISTIC care.

All our practitioners are experienced and highly qualified, providing treatment to a wide range of conditions, as well as having osteopaths and physiotherapist specialising in the treatment of ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, Long COVID and other associated disorders plus areas that interest us including; cranio-sacral, sports injury, pregnancy and children.

I am forever grateful to Raymond and his team, who took me from bedbound to functional and able to enjoy life again. Raymond is incredibly kind, knowledgeable and the techniques work. He is upfront that the treatment doesn’t work for everybody as ME/CFS is complex condition, but if the causes are issues with spinal and thoracic congestion (which will be determined in your original consultation) then there is a very good chance of success. It’s not easy, I got worse before I got better (over the course of 6 months) and nearly gave up, but Raymond warned me about this so I persisted, then one day I noticed I was significantly better and now have occasional treatments to maintain. If I skip them, I become ill again. That, along with undeniable improvements in my health and function has convinced me that it works.

Our APPROACH

At The Perrin Clinic, we’re committed to a holistic approach that values your uniqueness. Each individual is like a jigsaw puzzle and together, we’ll piece together a treatment plan that addresses your specific needs.

Through a combination of hands-on techniques, and therapeutic exercises we’ll work together to restore your body’s balance and harmony. If you need more, our experienced, highly qualified Acupuncturist and Hypnotherapist/ Counsellor plus other complementary health approaches offered at the clinic completes the holistic approach that has been helping patients in the Greater Manchester area for over 40 years.

I had all but given up on recovery from CFS, and went to Dr Perrin and his team with an attitude of ‘what have I got to lose?’. Just under two years later, I am well again and have my life back. They really understand the condition, and what it’s like to live with it. The quality of care is first class. Dr Perrin was always clear about what I could and couldn’t expect from the treatment so I understood what was happening. The treatment worked. I feel very lucky to have happened upon the article that led me to the Perrin Technique and very grateful to the team for their care and skill.

Antoinette is incredible and cannot recommend her enough. She not only tailors the treatment to each individual’s needs but also to the ever changing symptoms that might need more focus one week vs another. Would highly recommend seeing her for treatment

– Emily

I have been attending the Perrin clinic since 1997 when I was first diagnosed with ME, aged 16. I currently see Antoinette Atuah who I cannot rate highly enough.
Of course she is knowledgeable and skilled as a practitioner as you would expect but the level of empathy and validation that she brings to the patient has made such an impact on my life. She goes above and beyond, always.

Backed by science

Dr Perrin is both an osteopath and a neuroscientist, and the founder of the Perrin Technique. Everything here - examination, diagnosis and treatment - is grounded in decades of research. You get care built on evidence, not guesswork.

Kath Fletcher
Reiki Master

Kath has been living with Fibromyalgia and Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) since 2006, and has also been a patient at the clinic since that time.

During one particularly difficult period in her life, Kath was struggling not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well. It was during this time that she was introduced to Reiki and Tropic by Colette Armstrong Reiki Master. She began receiving Reiki treatments, and can say they made a profound difference to her overall wellbeing. The treatments helped her feel calmer, more balanced, and better able to cope with the challenges of chronic illness.

Inspired by the positive impact Reiki had on her, Kath decided to complete Reiki Level 1 and Level 2 courses so that she could practise self-healing and also support others on their own wellbeing journeys.

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy therapy that works to promote relaxation and support the body’s natural healing processes. It involves light touch.

She is also a Tropic Ambassador where she sells skincare and beauty products and offers relaxing facials.

Elaine has worked at the clinic for 30 years. She loves the job, the people she works with, but most of all, the patients. She feels as though she goes to work to see lots of friends!

When she was younger, Elaine moved to New Zealand and lived in the North Island in a place called Onepoto and worked in a large Psychiatric Hospital in Porirua doing Occupational Therapy. She stayed there for five years and found it was a great experience.

In her spare time, Elaine loves to cook and really enjoys baking (even though she doesn’t have a sweet tooth!)
